What kinds of websites are there?
There are three types of websites that are applicable to your business. The most common one is an Information website. You may wish to sell your products online, in which case you will be interested in an E-Commerce website. Lastly if your on a tight budget you should investigate a Minisite.
We are well aware that each company has there own requirements and when we get started on the road to building a website for your company we will customise it to fit your needs.
Additional add-ons such as animation, streaming video, content management systems, forums and more, can all be provided. A final specification will be fleshed out before your project gets underway.
Information
This is the most common kind of website, which would contain your product range, company information, customer feedback, a brochure request form, store locations, opening times.
If for example you sell your products through in-store resellers then you should get a compelling information website so that when your prospective client gets back home they can compare your product at their leisure.
Your company may provide a range of services which can only be described in broad terms, and cannot be quantified into individual packages. If this is your company then an e-commerce website would not serve you well. You would be best suited to an information website.
If your company sells many products but it would be impractical to deliver them outside of a local range, then you may wish to go for an information website. This is a potential grey area, so if you do fall into this category then it would be wise to arrange a consultation with rtpDesign.

E-Commerce
This is the next level for a prospective website owner. Selling products online is a hugely successful application of the Internet. This site takes all the components of an information website, and adds on dynamic features such as a shopping cart, credit card processing, and secure servers.
If your company sells a range of products and you want to expand the potential customer base then an e-commerce website would be a great idea.
If you run a successful ebay shop and you want to take control into your own hands by cutting out the middle man you will find that a custom designed e-commerce site can do just that. Put yourself in control of every facet of your business, and avoid paying out to the middleman for those listing costs!
